Trust in God's mercy, and have patience; the answer to prayer comes in its own good time.

Hazrat Inayat Khan offered these words during his years of teaching in the West, a period of great personal strain as he carried the Sufi message across cultures that often met him with skepticism or indifference. He had left India, his family, and the world he knew, surrendering his comfort to a calling he could not fully see the shape of.
