Choose The Small Thing

We can do no great things, only small things with great love.

Mother Teresa spoke these words to the Missionaries of Charity as she guided them through decades of daily service among Calcutta's poorest and dying. She never asked her sisters to change the world in one sweeping act, only to wash a wound, feed a stranger, or sit with someone in their last hours. Her own life was built from thousands of unremarkable moments rather than a single dramatic gesture. The quote strips away the pressure to be extraordinary and points instead to what is actually in front of you.

Reflection

Mother Teresa found holiness in ordinary tasks done with care rather than in grand achievements. What small task can I do today with real love?
